What to Do If You Sent Money to the Wrong Person

Immediate steps to take if you accidentally transfer funds to an incorrect recipient.

Accidentally sending money to the wrong person can be stressful, but acting quickly is crucial for the best chance of reversal.

While PadiePay will do its best to assist, please note that reversal is not always guaranteed, especially if the funds have already been withdrawn or used by the unintended recipient.

If you sent money to the wrong PadiePay user or bank account:

  • Act fast: Contact PadiePay Support immediately.
  • Provide: Transaction ID, Amount and time, Username or account details you sent to.
  • If the funds haven’t been withdrawn or used, PadiePay may be able to reverse the transaction after verifying the error.
